This week I’ll be blogging over on the MyPropertyMentor blog on how Social Media can be used by property developers to create greater visibility for their projects; whether selling a property or renting it out.
There is so much that can be discussed that it would be impossible to list a complete ‘How To’ guide just in four days, however, I’m hoping that the ‘mini-series’ will create a ripple effect that will help property developers explore the potential that using online communication tools offers.

Wednesday: Increasing your digital footprint
Using Radian6, this article identifies where the conversations are taking place online and what people are talking about over the last 30 days. Plus how using other platforms like Flick.com, Slideshare.net, YouTube.com and scribd.com can help increase a property developers digital footprint.
Thursday: Basic Social Media Strategy
This article brings the previous 3 together in a basic strategy and discusses the fact that as long as you know where people are having relevant conversations and what they are talking about (the hard bit) creating a strategy that is focused on engagement whilst increasing awareness to what a property developer is doing can be achieved.
…And finally
Of course all of the posts can be used as a basis to form an online strategy – but at the heart of it must be listening to what people are saying about you, your competitors and the services/products…
