I think you're right – although, TV, radio and adverts have a bit of catching up to do – due to technological barriers – but what will be interesting to watch is how Simon Cowell re-evaluates how his shows (XFactor and Britains Got Talent) engage with their audiences to avoid a repeat performance of the Rage Against the Machine v Joe Mcalderry situation in the future… I can't see him underestimating the influence social media has again…

I find this comment “you can’t manage customers in today’s society as they have a tendency not to like it!” -particularly true of today. Everything new is about engaging and involving- Tv/ radio /adverts. We are expected to interact now and we have been trained to do so by those very same Tv and radio programs. Why should social media be any different? Its not – its just a WAY more powerful and faster way of getting to and interacting with your potential audience or client.
