So that’s it… All 2009 festivities are officially over and today, for many of us, is the first day back at work after a rather nice ‘restful’ period.
Over the years I’ve had different feelings on returning to work after the new year celebrations: either I’ve felt I needed a few more weeks off or, as is the case today, I’m really excited to get back. And before you say anything, I’m not being a ‘teachers pet’ !!!
This time last year opportunities were a bit scarce due to state of the economy -made worse by media speculation. So what’s especially different now are the invigorating opportunities that lie ahead. And although many of them are in the early stages – and some speculative work will need to be undertaken – it’s great to be having ‘conversations’ with organisations that are thinking about things differently…
So if you’re back to work today I hope you’ve some exciting projects in the pipeline and if you haven’t think about approaching your existing customers/clients to find out what challenges they’re facing; as you might discover an opportunity
