“Don’t knock the weather; nine-tenths of people couldn’t start a conversation if it didn’t change once in a while.”

conversationWhy is it that some people seem to be able to strike up a conversation with ease. Effortlessly moving from one subject to the next…

Oh to have the ability to know exactly what will get you on-side right from the off. A lot of us have felt/thought it at some point I’m sure…

No matter where you are or who you’re with it would solve so many problems if you could know what that person likes/dislikes; needs/wants etc. It doesn’t matter where it is: on the phone, at a networking event, an exhibition or a conference just to find out what’s making them tick…

But fear not, the answer is right before you – literally!

Have you asked them?

It might seem like the most obvious solution in the world but by just coming out and asking them questions about them, you immediately make them interested in having a conversation with you – funny how it works isn’t it!
